ODV was founded by a veteran and his family who recognized firsthand the challenges many veterans face after military service. Their vision was to create an organization that combines personal experience with compassionate support, making it easier for veterans and their families to access the resources, guidance, and assistance they deserve.

ODV is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, but proudly serves veterans and their families nationwide.Because many of our programs are delivered virtually and through a network of partners and volunteers across the country, geography is never a barrier to receiving support. Yes. Operation Decisive Victory® is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization, having received tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service in 2019. Contributions to ODV are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.Federal Tax ID (EIN): 83-1540266.

Approximately 80% of funds raised directly support veteran programs and services, while the remaining funds help sustain the infrastructure needed to deliver those services effectively.ODV operates with a lean, largely virtual model that helps minimize overhead costs, allowing more of every donated dollar to directly impact veterans and their families.

Our marketing and community outreach efforts are made possible through fundraising events, generous community partnerships, and donated promotional opportunities.Many local businesses and community partners provide advertising space, display banners, and promote ODV at no cost, allowing us to maximize donor dollars while increasing awareness of our mission.
